This is a very simple hotel. We stayed there in our way to Torres del Paine Nonetheless, it's clean and offers you decent breakfast. The accommodations are pretty OK (including bathroom) - not fancy, but OK. Nice staff. It's a little far from the city centre but was OK for us, since we had a car. It was a good... More

My Wife and I booked a room at Alcazar for one night and then added a second night. The hotel is really clean (shiny floors all the time) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We did have some minor communication issues as we only speak poor/broken Spanish and the majority of the staff speaks little English (however, we're... More

The hotel is situated in a rundown part of the town. It is a very modest hotel however at a reasonable price. The highlight was the pleasant owner ,his sons and a good english speaking young guy who worked in the evenings. Breakfast was very mediocre. The owner went out of his way to arrange the tours, bus reservations and... More

The staff was super helpful in planning excursions (although the excursions were a bit pricey) and being proactive-- they anticipated what we wanted to do and planned ahead for us. The "kids" who worked at night were very nice and loved to chat. The rooms were very warm and plenty of blankets were provided.

The Hostal Alcazar is a hidden gem in Puerto Natales. The owners picked us up from the bus station and transported us to their hotel. It was clean, nicely decorated and had great heat and hot water. The rooms and private bathrooms were modern. The owners made arrangements for two tours with a company called 21 de Mayo tours. Both... More

Hotel Alcazara good place to stay. Wonderful, welcoming, family-run. Comfortable straightforeword accomodations at a price that is reasonable. You won't regret staying here. Also, while in Puerto Natales, enjoy a first-class dining experience at Angelica's, located on the main street downtown.

A refurbished small, owned by Spanish speaking family with very little English communication skills, and poor English speaking receptionists. need to wait for one of the guides in the evening to get anything translated. In a run down area. About 10 minutes walk from town centre. Good Dining is in centre of town. The room was small, clean and comfortable... More

We stayed at the Alcazar for 2 nights. The accomodations are very basic, sparse, very small rooms and bathroom. The free breakfast was unimaginative. The staff however is very helpful in arranging tours, getting you to and from the airport and so on.

This place was fantastic. From the moment they picked me up at the bus stop, the family staff were friendly and welcoming and helped me to arrange all of my tours with their in-house travel agency. The breakfast was delicious--hot, fresh bread and coffee-- I wish I could have brought their homemade plum jam home with me. Yum! As for... More

A refurbished small, family run hotel, about 10 minutes walk from town centre where there is much dining to suit every pocket. The room was clean and comfortable but basic. The bathroom was tiny but came complete with good shower, WC and hand basin. The breakfast was unimaginative and the dining area was simple but breakfast was certainly nothing to... More
