Coming with an overnight flight from Europe we stayed our first 2 nights in South America in Arica. The lobby was a little dark, some building acitivty was going on right next to the entrance. We brought our suitcases up to the first floor by ourselfs - NO elevator. The room was basic and smelled "wet", the airconditioner made the... More

I stayed here for two nights (thank goodness it was only two!) in October 2011. This hotel is not five stars. It is at best, one star. It is in a decent location but the room was small and dirty. The bedpsreads were filthy and the bathroom needed cleaning. The furniture was hand made from wood and poorly painted. If... More

We rented a little 'villa". We were steps from the beach and playground. Although a bit out of town we were able to find two great local restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was also nice. The view from the pool is outstanding.

Stayed there for several nights. It is average in service and features but it is clean, the staff is friendly and if you dont have to be in the center of town it's perfect.

Stayed two nights at Hotel Arica this June. Overall the hotel was adequate, but very dated and a ~8 min drive out of town. While taxis are cheap, it's a bit of a pain to have to find one and commute home after a night in town. Had two rooms, one ocean view suite and one single, suite was roomy... More

My girlfriend and I drove to Arica for a weekend getaway. She had stayed at the Panamericana several times before, and raved about its staff and the fun times she and her family had experienced before. However, the last time she was there was a few years before, and she remarked at how the place seems to have gone downhill.... More

It's a comfortable hotel but, the website says it has hair dryers at the rooms and it has not. There were people complaining about the noisy events arround the pool, fortunately we were in room 366 which was away from the party area, so we didn't hear anything. Food is acceptably good, but I certainly have had better. You have... More

I spent two days at the hotel with my wife in april 2008. It is the best in Arica, and every room have ocean private view. Looks like renovation was finished, all was new, clean, and very nice garden and service outstanding. Contrary what other guests says, the hotel have direct and private access to the small beach La Lisera.... More

Hotel is the best in Aria. Wonderful staff in reception area as well as room cleaning. Have to contend with management that is lettiing the property ran down. Half light-bulbs in hallways burnt, paint peeling in the rooms, bed linen and covers need a change. Chairs in the bar are so old and dirty one would hesitate to sit there.... More

The hotel has all the features you would expect of a bigger chain. Also free Wi-Fi in the rooms, nice pool, fantastic sea views, free buffet breakfast. The hotel isn't in the town centre although it's only a 15 minute walk or a $2.50USD taxi ride (you may see this as a positive or negative). There is no beach next... More
