Stayed 3 nights, 2 rooms. No complaints. Walk to markets, pubs and restaurants. The staff were lovely. Stored bags, gave directions, helpful advise. Large rooms with a balcony. Nice breakfast at pool area.

We - the couple of 50+ - planned the trip to have a quite accomodation with good access to local "wats" and naturally evening restaurants after long hot day of travelling. The stay was 3 nights long. We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2013. It's in a fabulous location I.e.close to the town centre, and while it may be a little tired the price is right for what's on offer. Highly recommended. There is abreast laundry opposite, and for USD1 per kg, it's good clue and they did a great job.

Recently spent 5 nights in Siem Reap at the Steung Hotel. The hotel is located in the center of the city, just a couple of minutes walk from 'Pub Street,' the old market, and the night market. We stayed for 2 days in April 2013. It was the Cambodia New Year and was fully booked. - The location was very good just opposite the old market & a few steps away from Pub Street. An excellent location close to the old market and a short stroll to pub street and the many restaurants surrounding it. Other places of interest close by include the art & craft market (just over the river from the old market) & the night market (10 minutes walk from hotel). The night market open from 6.30pm. We stayed here for 2 nights on the last part of our tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Apparently the hotel building is the original one in Siem Reap. It really could not be better placed for tours of Angkor Wat, Uncle Thom etc. Restaurants are just next to the hotel, with markets, night market right on your doorstep. Sometimes appearances... More
