We got what we expected after some good research at Tripadvisor. Overall – a very good hotel that breathes some good degree of calmness and “colonial” feel, despite being certainly much younger. The FCC provides a relaxed sanctuary after some busy days of negotiating the myriads of temples in the area. The pool area, though not big, is a great... more

Fantastic staff - nothing was too much trouble for them. Great location - 10 minutes walk to Pub Street and night market. Would definately stay here again. more

FCC is very good what is wants to do but less forthcoming for other requests. Clearly a very nice place to stay, spacious, attractive rooms and surroundings, good location, nice spa, recommendable. Negatives: too many mosquito's in the room, staff should spray. staff offered female companion.....as a joke(??????) no reply yet to my email regarding Bonus points food not particular... more

We stayed at this hotel with friends for five nights. It was excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are particularly nice and the outside seating area for each room was a great place to relax after a hard day at the temples! The staff were excellent and very helpful. The spa was brilliant but it is best to... more

We have just returned after spending 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. I do not understand why it ranks relatively low as against other hotels in Siem Reap. Architecturally it is one of the most interesting of hotels locally (there are numerous sterile/same looking hotels on the road in from the airport). The staff at reception are excellent; incredibly friendly... more

I'm sorry to say I only stayed two nights. the hotel is small, quite and very lovely. Located on the river in Siem Riep, it's only minutes by tuk-tuk to the old market and monutes to Angkor by car. The staff were fantastic and the room and food were excellent. I'll be returning for a longer stay. more

Just realised I never got round to rating this hotel after staying there a year and a half ago, and was honestly shocked to see that it was rated 20something-th. Looks like many new hotels in Siem Reap have popped up since then. Service was great starting from check-in. Staff were not at all pushy with tours and were great... more

I can see this hotel being a stand-out when it was brand new, but they seem not to be too interested in maintaining their facilities. Woodwork badly worn in room and in need of re-finishing, miniscule tv the size of a computer monitor, and since most movies and shows in Cambodia are sub titled, was impossible to read them. It... more

When we decided to book this hotel we were looking for a base to visit Angkor temples and the city centre. FCC was a great choice and it’s very different from the traditional big resort, impersonal, equal everywhere as the big hotel chains are. Everything is in short minute ride by tuk-tuk so location isn’t a problem in Siem Reap.... more

Absolutely misleading web site. Reality was a dirty room (floor and pillows were dirty), the restaurant and bar with the open kitchen needs a long clean up (some doors hadn't been cleaned for probably more than one year) one of the restrooms didn't even have a sink to wash your hands. Red wine stains from the night before on the... more
