We stayed here for one night after leaving the Palm Village (amazing resort, btw). While the location of the Diamond is decent, right beside the river, the hotel itself deserves a wrecking ball. The room smelled terrible, the fridge didn't work and the breakfast is best avoided. After pointing out the shortcomings of the room, we agreed on $US 20... more

A nice little hotel by the river, directly across the road from the FFC (which is a great place for a meal). Some of the rooms are in the main building, but the nicer rooms are in the lovely little air-conditioned huts.
