Stayed at the New Apsara for a full week, travelling with our family of 3 kids 9/7/3months and my wifes sister 17 years old. once our taxi from the border had found it we settled into massive rooms with cable tv and hot showers A/C and fans. Raksa and family who owned the new apsara could not do more for... More

Stayed here on a friend's recommendation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Has an ATM and supermarket downstairs which made it convenient to grab drinks and other snacks. Room was huge with a nice balcony and chairs to sit on.

Had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Guest House located close to the action of Siem Reap..Located above their supermarket, so convenient for shopping or last minute snacks. Staff were extremely friendly and always ready to assist you in any request. The Guest house had dining facilities which included free tea and coffee for the guests. - The Bacon... More

In the New Apsara Guest House I stayed for 16 nights and I can absolutely recommend it. My room was very spacious and clean. The owner familly redecorated all rooms in November 2009. The family seems to be very big and everybody is very helpful and friendly. Every day I received fresh towels and the room was cleaned very carefully.... More

Stayed the first night in Siem Reap in one of the backpacker places recommended by Lonely Planet, but changed to New Apsara because it was much better value for money. Good clean rooms, friendly staff and you have it all in one place: cheap restaurant, bookshop, internet and supermarket + its very central when you have to explore the tempels...

On arrival in Siem Reap the bus dropped us off on the outskirts of Siem Reap. Fortunately on phoning Raksa he came and arranged Tuk Tuks for everyone free of charge. For $10 a night for a fan room or $15 for air con the room was adequate. It would have been good to have a wardrobe, mirror and hairdryer.... More

This was my 3rd trip to Siem Reap and the guesthouse I normally stay at has closed its doors with the owner concentrating on his tour business. A couple of friends in Phnom Penh told me about the New Apsara and said it was new, comfortable, close to town and had its own supermarket on the ground floor. Sounded interesting.... More

Staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. My room had brand-new furniture and a huge bed, cable TV etc. Location is about 10mins walk from Pub St (downtown), and some nice restaurants close by - specially Chivot Thai - with it's $2.00 lunch menu and also the Wat Bo Buffet at $3.00 (all you...
