Our stay in Bun Kao Guesthouse was terrific! We ended up staying 6 nights. We had a AC room for 11$. The room was cleaned every day and we had every day new towels, without us asking for it. The staff is so kind and helpfull, they make you feel at home, so friendly! We got 2 little bottles of... More

It was $8 a night for a double, the beds were comfy and there was a tv. Oh and a warm shower. What else do you need? The bad review about the restaurant is stupid. Its a guesthouse, not a restaurant. Location left a little to be desired but to be expected in this price range

This place is owned and run by a local family that was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The room I stayed in was decent, but very good value for the rock bottom price I paid. The location is pretty good and about a 15 minute walk from the main area. The only downsides were that the WiFi wasn't working when I... More

Whenever I come to Siem Reap, this is the 2nd home I turn to. Mr Bun Kao is a hardworking man who ensures that every guest's needs are met. He would always be smiling and asking about your day with the only hope of making it better. As a local NGO, he also extends his help to local schools and... More

smallest room i have stayed in . Small wall mounted fan over the top of the bed making it useless. Drab eating area, with a worst exterior. Breakfast, a greasey omlel, take it or leave it (iwent across the road to the 'Happy') If you would drink local tea or coffee with powered whitener you would drink any-thing. Menue at least... More

My friends and I stayed in two double rooms for 3 nights. The rooms themselves were clean, and included everything you needed. You may or may not get a bath (there appears to be a shower in every room) but you probably won't get time for a bath! The breakfasts were large and delicious (baguette, fried egg and fruit). There... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting Angkor Wat. Excellent location with many guesthouses on the street. Mr. Bun Kao bends over backwards to help you. Breakfast (egg & baguette & coffee) is included. One day they even brought it to my room on a tray. Wifi is slow but consistent. We were in 2 different rooms, both very... More

The staff was smiling and very helpful. They arranged a tuk tuk driver and a great guide for us. They made our days at Angkor Wat in to a perfect experience. The rooms was ok. and they had free good breakfast. Some of the profit from the guesthouse goes to a local children school. While we were there, the manager... More

I cant say enough good things about the Gentleman who runs this Guesthouse. I was there with a best friend, and had come to Siem Reap for a 30th birthday and to see the Temples. Bun was helpful in every single way possible. I needed a fast turn around on my washing - he did it. We slept in on... More
