We arrived in Santa Cruz on 7/03/06 and had a 7 hour lay
over before our flight to Cochabamba. We needed a hotel to
stay in for one night on 7/20/06 on our way back to the US.
We had a taxi take us into town to check out a nice hotel
to reserve. We told him to take us to Hotel Bibosi (taxi charged
us $7 american dollars, its a good idea to have some bolivians on you when you arrive). There was no review on this hotel, so
I wanted others to know and not waste their time. We had heard Bibosi was clean and inexpensive from one website. We were family of four with two small children. The taxi driver didn't want to
take us there (said its not good), this was not a good sign. He dropped us off at Hotel Chanciller ($55 a night), but it was not that great either. Look cleaned, but old and small hotel.
