I go to Santa cruz alot for work and the company I work for puts me up in this hotel. Where do I start? The staff is soooo rude, they act as if they are doing you a favor for letting you stay there, the concept of "you are providing me a service for which I'm paying for" is way over there heads. I would also like to mention the food at the restaurant is old and stored by what appears to be years .. everyone that I work with including myself have eating at the restaurant in the hotel atleast once and we have all gotten severe food poison, I was hospitalized for 4 days after my dinner at the yotau. I thought I was going to die it was horrible. We move on to the common areas of the hotel which are all smoking permitted , from the "business center" (which by the way is a joke) to the elevator. smoking everywhere. all the rooms are smoking and the cleanning staff is not very good so lets just say that you room will more than likely smell like tabacco.
