Wanted to stay at the Amargosa Opera House but that was sold out, so they recommended this place which is 7 miles away. Room rate was $95 for most basic room. ...after canceling our stay at Amargosa Hotel 7 miles away, we found this little gem of place...very clean, staff was freindly and helpful, food in the cafe was above average and overall this place was a good value...about an hour's drive from Beatty and Rhyolite, and an hour from Furnace Creek....a good stop if traveling between Death Valley and Vegas. more

The Longstreet is located where Nevada 373 / CA-127 crosses the state line. My teenage son and I stayed one night to visit the Amargosa Opera House about 10 miles away. The room was spacious and clean. There was a sink / counter in the bathroom, and another in the bedroom which also had a coffeemaker; a very nice feature.... more

Very friendly employees. Was there on a Sat. night & they had a band in the bar playing country and classic rock. They were excellent. Dance floor and inexpensive beer. Had a great time. Met plenty of locals too that were very welcoming. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable. Cafe had decent breakfast. Enjoyed my stay. more

After reading all the glowing reviews, I was pretty a bit disappointed with this property in some regards. It truly was in the middle of nowhere, and it took us a lot longer to arrive from Las Vegas airport after turning off Highway 95 onto 373 than we expected. This place is a good value--about $85 a night for a big room. The casino has no table games but I won $50 at the slots, so...
