One of the problems with driving through desolate areas (like Nevada near Area 51) is the lack of choices when it comes to lodging and restaurants. This has been our favorite stop more than 5 years and we just decided our last. They raised the rates and cut service with inept staff. Sorry to see it happen but worth an extra hour's drive to Vegas for better choices and service. More
