Excellent!!! This is a wonderful place to stay for a weekend, and even longer. The home was beautifully decorated and very up-to-date for a centennial home. One of the owners, Sally, came to greet us and took such good care of us. Breakfast was amazing...fresh pastries, muffins, eggs and sausage, and so much more! We rented the entire house for... More

Perfect place for a "girls weekend"!! We had such a relaxing time, and we were so well cared for by Sally. Her attention to details was so thoughtful, and the "breakfast" was over the top...extensive selection of things to eat and all delivered ever so quietly in the morning so it was ready whenever we were!! And the goodies in... More

My wife, I, and two other couples all stayed at the Lower Street Inn for a couples get away weekend. The experience was wonderful and we can't wait to go back. The acomodations of this restored home turned bed & breakfast are top notch. All the rooms were beautifully decorated with ample space. The house as a whole had obviously... More

My husband and I stayed here on a Katy Trail bike trip through MO wine country. The owner, Dale, thoughtfully called us on the trail to warn us of the Augusta Brewery's hours, to make sure we would have enough time to eat dinner in town. He even called the restaurant to let them know to wait for us. This... More

The Lower Street Inn is a beautifully restored historic home. We stayed here with family and friends celebrating my birthday. What a wonderful stay. Sally made sure we knew the history of the house and were comfortable in our surroundings. We rented the whole house for our group and were extremely happy with our accommodations. We stayed in the Garden... More

Lower Street Inn is a warm and welcoming experience. Light plays from a myriad of windows, and the balconies and porches are a treat. Charming details - the dining room ceiling, the corner piano, the kitchen sink - will delight and soothe you. Sally and Dale have also spared no expense when it comes to guest comfort. The bathroom alone... More

This was my very first B&B visit and it was beyond my expectations! The home is beautifully decorated and the accommodations were fantastic. Sally & Dale made my visit very comfortable and welcoming. The Katy Trail, Wineries and antiques shops are in walking distance. I would definitely be back for another visit! Thanks Sally and Dale for an enjoyable stay!!

Lower Street Inn is a historic home, that is not only immaculate, but beautifully restored and decorated with gorgeous antiques. The gardens are lush, gorgeous, and home to many song birds and squirrels. We had a delightful evening sitting on the back porch, watching the birds, enjoying the beautiful landscape, and winding down after many miles on the trail. Not... More
