The Gasthof Burglstein is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the lake district of Salzburg.
It is located near the towns of St. Wolfgang and Strobl near Wolfgangsee. Despite being located on the outskirts of St. Wolfgang, other points in the area are easily accessible by the Post Bus which runs right past the hotel.
The Gasthof offers a variety of room types ranging from rooms which can accommodate two people to family apartments which can accommodate up to four people. The rooms contain kitchenettes which contain a double cook top, small fridge , sink and coffee machine. If you opt to not cook while on vacation, you can add the options of breakfast or half board in the inn’s restaurant.
The rooms are tastefully and decorated in lighter woods. The family room we stayed in had a double bed , separate room with bunk beds and sleeper sofa. The dining area had a table with chairs as well as a small table on the balcony. The rooms also have a shower area... more
