During a weeklong honeymoon around the state, my husband and I made Rachel's the first stop from St. Louis. We spend two nights and this stay really set the relaxation and romantic mood we were seeking. The inkeepers daughter greeted us warmly at the door and gave us a tour, letting us see the other rooms (which we loved). This is a place of peace and harmony. The rooms are lovely, but not at all like staying at a hotel. They are warm, unique and. each room is different. I have never stayed away from home and been so comfotable and relaxed. My whole family had a great time!. The area is breathtaking. We went to the river one day and you can see clear to the bottom, the water is so clear. There are lots of things to do, but it is just a special place to enjoy eachother. The owners offer a haven away from life as we know it. A gentle time of times gone by. They are friendly and it is obvious they love what they do and eachother. They are someone you would want to know. This is truly a memory to last a lifetime. Thank you so much. , Barbara Kirby more
