Driving across country, we stayed here for the night. Our standards are pretty basic-clean, affordable. We require no frills as our night stay is for rest and refreshing. Now, with that background... We do NOT recommend this hotel. Bathroom was unsatisfactory even for an inn that was $55 a night. Mold in the shower (fixtures and tub floor). Porcelain of... More

While on our honeymoon traveling west, we needed a place to stop that was somewhere in MN. At first I looked at Albert Lea because it is much bigger than Austin. But I found this hotel on TA and was happy we picked it. If you are expecting a 4 star hotel, then you will be disappointed. If you are... More

Stayed at the Country Side Inn in Austin, MN last night after driving 12 hours. TV didn't work, roomed smelled, shower had very low pressure, called the front desk about it all and got the blow off. Not much for breakfast either.... won't stay here again! More

Clean Large Rooms and a Comfortable stay. The hotel is a bit old looking outside but is a charm inside. Great service and a pleasant stay while i had construction done to my home. Bathroom was roomy and clean and breakfast was ok. More

I am in the final night of my 5 night stay here in Austin, MN and at Countryside Inn. As others have mentioned, it is a "mom-and-pop" operation. It is your basic roadside motel, just off the interstate on the edge of town (though downtown is about only 2 miles away). Decor throughout the motel is basic and a little... More

Don't be fooled by the driveway leading to this mhotel; the building has been renovated inside and is very nice. The room is simple, but extremely clean, plenty of space with 2 queen beds, a large table/desk with mini fridge and microwave. There were 3 chairs in our room, making it possible to sit somewhere besides the beds. The beds... More

This is an older property that has had some remodeling and appears to be a "mom and pop" operation. The people who appeared to be the owners were friendly. The property is very near I-90, so we heard traffic speeding by at 70 mph. The double room was large and had a microwave and mini-fridge and extra chair for watching... More

The staff at the Countryside Inn go all out to make a family comfortable and relaxed. They have smoking and nonsmoking rooms. They also have rooms especially equiped for the handicap. They have single, queen and king beds that sleep very well. Hot tubs in some of the rooms feel great after a long trip or just as a get-a-way... More
