We stayed here at a discounted rate because a relative new the owners. So we put up with more than we normally would. First the pool was cloudy, the hot tub smelled like a swamp, the first night and the next afternoon it was colder than the pool. The "free" wifi was disabled and the hotel worker did not even... Due to circumstances we have had to stay at the Harbor Inn for some time. I will say that it is not as updated as the other hotel in town but they offer much more than just a room. The owner and his family are truly great people and will do anything possible to make sure you are comfortable. The... More

Au Gres, MI is a small fishing port community that seems to have somehow allowed the properity of waterfront to pass it by. there are only two motels in town. I walked into then out of an Econo-Lodge. Read others review on that dump. This property may simply be reflecting the lack of vacation and recreation dollars spent in this... More

We were in town and found this as our only choice when it came to hotels. When I booked the room at the "discounted" rate of $100 per night, I was thinking that it would be quite the place because it was so pricey! Boy were we surprised. The lobby was filthy and smelled horrible. When we got to the... More

We had no choice but to stay here. I now wish we had slept in the car . When we opened the door to the room I was immediatly sickened. This place was a filthy dump. I don't think I slept more than an hour all night . We were gone by 7 am. the next morning. We were charged... More

This place is a DISGUSTING DUMP. Horribly outdated and FILTHY. There were holes in the walls, a window missing in the bathroom, the sheets had not been changed and look ed like they were covered in either dog hair or pubic hair, the carpet had ground in dirt which made our feet black on the bottoms, and after getting out... Thank you, Eric & Kim, for keeping us safe and warm during the 28 hour power outage due to the snowstorms. This hotel is enclosed, opens to warm hallways that front the parking lot with windows. Clean, comfortable, well kept, with friendly, knowledgeable staff. I would DEFINITELY recommend it. The price is very reasonable and it is well located. More

This place is in need of a serious update. The hallways were creepy to say the least. The room was clean, but sporting a 1950s style. The pillows were sub-par and there was no blanket on the bed. More
