When i passed through Sucre, i wanted to stay in one of the colonial buildings, and this is certainly a good example. I stayed here for two nights in December 2008. Great, central location, only a few steps away from main square and great restaurants. Safe and comfortable place to stay. The people at reception are helpful enough. Be prepared however to speak spanish.

Rooms was large enough with cable TV and quite clean.

At the time of my stay it was a bit empty (also a bit pricier than some of the hostels nearby). Due to a bit higher price fellow backpackers stayed away, but at breakfast i met some interesting bolivian people. Breakfast was decent, nothing really extraordinary. more
