I stayed at santa Cecilia for 8 days for a bit of respite from travelling. I had the double ensuite room to myself for 70Bs a night! The owners are wonderfully firendly and make you feel right at home. It was nice and quiet and the other guests were friendly and respectful. The breakfast is out all morning and you... More

if you're looking for a great place, like a home this is it!! After a horrible night at a hostel we arrived at santa cecialia and booked 3 nights, actually we stayed there for 6 nights. The rooms are clean, big, the breakfast is good and the owners are great. We loved our stay here!

My wife and I booked the double ensuite, which was almost like a suite! Great size of room (with TV!)and immaculate bathroom. The location is very central but is peaceful at night. The breakfast was adequate, and there's a nice guest-usable kitchen area. The staff were very friendly, helping us book flight's to our next location and provided good info... More

We got one of the warmest welcomes ever here; such a nice family running this place! Besides that: great location, nice rooms and overall a very nice hostel. Could be a bit cleaner though, and the wifi didn't work. But the owners make up for any shortcomings with their hospitality.

Wow . . . a month at Santa Cecilia went by SO FAST. I cannot recall one night when I did not sleep perfectly. The owners, Oswaldo and Maria-Juana were very, very friendly. I really felt at home and I think that was the most important feeling to have when staying in a foreign place. The only down-side is that... More

The rooms are clean and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is the standard tea or coffee with bread & jams/butter. If you are on a budget this can be a great option. The only drawback is that is very difficult to get the wifi signal. The plus - the owners are really nice and helpful.

My husband and I stayed at the Santa Cecelia Inn for almost 3 months and had a wonderful time. The owners, Maria Juana and Oswaldo, were warm, supportive and very friendly. They responded quickly to any requests and were extremely helpful. The living areas, kitchen and patio were always kept very clean and our room and bathroom was cleaned weekly.... More

Exellent hostel, very friendly owners, next to the main place. We paid for a double room 130 bolivianos/night, what was really ok., comparing to the prices of the other hostels in sucre. Exellent kitchen and big living room, incl. breakfast, and friendly atmosphere. Don't miss the market in sucre with all the great and cheap food!!

This place does a great job of sitting somewhere between a B&B, a hostel and a sharehouse - very small, relaxed, but with a core group of sociable people staying from a week to a few months. If you're a little past share-house times, only staying a night or two, or you're looking for a hotel-type experience, I would recommend... More
