We selected this hotel almost at random after the ones we previously considered were sold out. PROS : Polite and helpful receptionists taking care of our wishes for a quiet room. Clean rooms with cable TV, free WiFi internet access and comfortable beds. Interesting location close to Santa Teresa’s, city center and 3 minutes walking from the famous CASA DE... More

OK. The accommodation options are probably pretty limited in Potosi. However, our room smelled of sewage (which cleared after an afternoon of airing, but returned when the guests in the room above used their toilet). The bed was sagging in places and not very comfortable. The (rather thin) door to the room had a large frosted glass window which allowed... More

The Hotel Santa Teresa is a decent hotel, considering the lack of good options in Potosi. We had a hard time picking a hotel when we were researching the choices in Potosi on Trip Advisor since the reviews seemed universally negative. The Hotel Santa Teresa was one of the few that did not seem to have extremely terrible reviews. I... More

This hotel was close to restaurants and shops. Our room was a good size, away from the street and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good. The neighbourhood seemed quiet and safe. There were computers with free internet.

We stayed at Santa Teresa for four nights. We ended up with a room on the third storey, but the hotel had no lift and no one offered to help us with our bags. Lugging heavy bags up several flights of work is quite a challenge in a city at Potosi's altitude. The room was spacious, but the decor a... More

ur room was very dark, furniture was quite worn. Beds were OK and bathroom clean. View of cerro rico only from bathroom :-/ Breakfast was good. Service was bolivian: calling a taxi already a hard test :-)

We walked into this hotel around 9pm. We were tired after 8 hours of bus and wanted a decent hotel. We were shown 2 rooms and when we agreed on the price, the receptionist told us that these rooms were actually not available. So we went up again and were shown another room. A little biz annoyed about this behaviour... More

There really isn't much choice of decent accomodation in Potosi. The staff are very friendly, it is cheap and clean and importantly warm. It needs a lick of paint but there is nothing really wrong with the place.

Probably most citizens of Potosí would be thankful if they lived in a house that has the standard of the Hotel Santa Teresa. However, from my personal perspective and having stayed at two very good hotels in La Paz and Sucre before I had trouble feeling comfortable at this place. No doubt, there was a kind welcome by the staff,... More

Rooms at Hotel Santa Teresa are heated, an important comfort factor considering the chilly nights in Potpsi. The hot shower was good and the sink has one-tap adjustment for hot water instead of one tap each for hot and cold. Located at a quieter part of town yet just a short walk to the main sights. Breakfast was buffet, good... More
