We were offered a reasonable price to upgrade to an executive suite 250 aed a night, and that included an early check in, we arrived at 630 am. The rooms were massive, the traditional style decor, with dark wood antique style tables and couches lLooked great. Bed huge king and comfy, on the firm side which was exactly how we... More

The location could not be better right opposite the Dubai Museum and within walking distance of the souqs and the Bastakiya quarter. The pool area was disappointing (rather crumped) although this was more than compensated by the friendliness of the staff and the food in the Chinese / Thai restaurant. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious with a... More

Nice clean and welcoming hotel. This hotel is situated in the old Dubai area near Dubai Creek. It is very conveniant to explore the local area and the taxi's are more than affordable should you wish to go to the new Dubai. We stayed here prior to our cruise and I was really pleased with the service we received and... More

Booked in for 3 nights online (not direct with the Hotel) in a standard room. Check-in was smooth, although the receptionist was not at all friendly. We were offered a (very) small glass of fruit juice. We didn't know beforehand, but the Hotel requires all guests to put down a 900 dir deposit. We decided to treat ourselves and opted... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and did not regret. It is an affordable accomodation with good quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an ok swimmingpool-area, and a little gym. The neigbourhood, Bur Dubai, is just great, and if feels a bit authentic. I loved to speedwalk in the area and down to... More

Very nice hotel; friendly staff and big rooms. Very beautiful museum across the street and near the Creek. Also the stop for the Big Bus. Very convenient. Near the Creek is a very nice place specially with the shopping festival. I found it so nice that I am going back to stay in Arabian Courtyard. More

If you are tired of the glitz of "New Dubai' try this hotel. It is located in the old section right across from the very interesting museum and also the fascinatingBastakiya district.Rooms were quite comfortable and service was excellent. One note of caution, if you are a light sleeper be warned. It is across from a large mosque and the call... More

We stayed for two nights prior to our cruise with Royal Caribbean. We booked via priceline and for the price we paid about £62 per night this was good value. Rooms were clean and relatively comfortable although the bathrooms could do with an upgrade, tiles cracked with some rusty rails.Overall more a three star hotel For us the main negative... More

Positives: room service food is surprisingly good and reasonably priced, most staff are very helpful and courteous (the front desk can be a bit slow). For the negatives, rooms facing the museum can be noisy, since the mosque loudspeaker is on the "extra loud" setting, and you are charged for internet, for which the connection keeps dropping and after a... We stayed here for 3 nights on a stopover to Singapore. The staff was very helpful and efficient, going above and beyond the call of duty when the driver for our dune bashing trip (which we had not booked through the hotel) did not turn up as they had lost our booking. I was very grateful to the bellman and... More
