The rooms were beautiful. We had an upstairs room with windows on three sides. The bed was comfortable and unlike other reviewers we had no problem with the stairs. Have just spent 4 nights here. A calm and pleasant place with friendly and trustworthy staff. Proprietor (Richard) was highly amenable and happy to chat at length and is obviously very proud of the hotel. Travelling by myself this time, but hopefully I'll be able to take my wife back here sometime in the future! more
