I stayed at Jaliya Guesthouse for 5 nights and it was ok, the room was nice but they never cleaned it so I had to ask for toilet paper and for them to empty the dustbin. They seemed to be very upset by that which I found odd.
I payed 10$ for the room and I thought that I could maybe get a little discount since I stayed so long and it wasn't high season anymore. But the lady at the reception (who is also the owner) was very rude and said that it was the price Lao people had to pay as well... yeah, right...

All in all my stay was ok but I would never go back again just because there are so many other guesthouses where the owners are really lovely and not rude and in a bad mood all the time... I guess that happens once your guesthouse is mentionned in the LP.... more
