Beautiful, restful, large and gorgeous rooms, great views, excellent staff and easy access to this charming World Heritage designated town -- what more could one ask? Oh -- not to overlook this -- the food at the hotel is excellent; breakfasts are more than we expected -- go for the mango crepes! I'd come back in a heartbeat.

One of the nicest places I've stayed at. Loved the rosewood furniture, the infinity pool, the view from our room of Phousi rising in the mist. Friendly staff. Only downside is that its away from the city, but this allows for more of a quiet relaxing environment too. Food was excellent. Loved Luang Prabang- an enchanting city, a wonderful hotel.

We stayed for two nights. This is a very nice hotel, well-managed, with outstanding service. Our room was spacious, well-furnished, and had a good layout (including a recessed balcony). The service was exceptional. We had a wonderful time in Laung Prabang, the reason being La Residence Phou Vao. The rooms are well appointed, free shuttle service was well organised. The concierge planned exceptional day trips for us. I Highly recommend this hotel.
