I stayed for a whole 8 days at this hotel on the outskirts of the city of Luang Prabang. Paul and his mother run a tight ship which means that the hotel and gardens (Paul's mother's domain) are extremely well ordered and well maintained. Everyone, including all the members of Paul's staff, are extremely attentive and nothing is too much... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while in Luang Prabang, and we are extremely pleased with the very hospitable family and staff running the hotel. On the first day, the bubbly owner of the hotel sat us down and ran us through the things we can do and places to explore. After staying in a... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Vansavath boutique hotel which is a family-run hotel a couple of kilometres from the Town Centre of Luang Prabang. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the standard tourist area but the town is easily accessible by the free shuttle bus service offered by the hotel and they also offer free bicycles... More

I am so glad we booked this hotel! It is set in nice gardens, on a road that leads directly to the Night Market. It is not in the centre of Luang Prabang but hotel has a shuttle and free bicycles for guest use, making it super easy to get to in 5-10mns from the centre. The rooms are spacious,... More

About 15 minute drive from the airport, hotel is large house, very friendly staff, the main guy sat us down and told us about all the places in the area and that there is a shuttle service to the town centre. Night market is nearby (grab the shuttle or ride free bicycles). Lots of tour places in the market and... More

Family hotel management " Paul and his mother " very helpful and friendly. We got excellent restaurant addresses, transportion contact, tour guide contact and all information about Luang Prabang. The hotel a bit far from the old town but there is no problem getting into old town because the hotel provided free bike, tuk tuk and truck can take you... More

My kids and I recently stayed at Vangsavath Hotel in Luang Prabang. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. A very special thank you to Na Deang and Phon for being so helpful and thoughtful. They both manage a great hotel and have great staff who are friendly and helpful. Location is great, a tad bit out of... More

Vangsavath Hotel. Luang Prabang. This hotel is little out of the centre of the town, how ever there is no problem getting into town as the hotel has both free bike and a shuttle bus that can take you where you want go. The hotel run and owned by a mother and son combination and both the mother and the... More

We wandered into the Vangsavath over the Christmas holiday period and were lucky enough to get a room for three nights. We found it to be charming - the owner is very much hands-on and very friendly and the location was perfect. Breakfast on the riverside terrace was a major plus point and the room we had (at the back... More

Spent 2nights at this lovely hotel which was run by the friendly, warm-hearted Mother (Deang) and her son (Paul). We booked their Deluxe Double (room 324 & 327) which came with a nice double bed, jacuzzi, a LCD tv with warm homely decorations. Their furniture and walls etc were all made of wood and is much to our delight :)... More
