What a find ! I was so tired of the grey buildings, dirty beaches, sex tourists and unfriendly people in Thailand I booked on good luck a flight to the for me totally unkown city of Luang Prabang, because it was not expensive and from Chiang Mai it would only take less than one hour flight time. I immediately noticed... More

We booked 3 rooms in this hotel, one suite and 2 superior deluxe rooms. The suite was of good size and was located on the first floor. The deluxe rooms are below ground smaller and quite dark. Eventhough the rooms were large they were not practical: A huge bathroom without the possibility to hang up something, all showers were leaking,... More

Spacious, quiet rooms, nice pool and helpful staff. LIttle bit removed from the main town area, but only a short bike or tuk tuk ride. We chose this property for its size and pool - we don;t like big resorts. Loved Luang Prabang and will vist Laos again. Had a great day Zip Lining and also at Khounsi waterfall.

The room was excellent comfort, large and spacious. I loved the bath room so much. The pool was great for our children to relax when they backed from the tours. The hotel located in very quiet place with huge nature so it was the best to relax after many noisy city in Asia. The tuk tuk will take you wherever you... More

This place was very good in some ways, but I felt the small things that were not so good about it, let it down. The positives were that our room was a large size (we booked the suite), it had good natural light, it had a comfortable bed, nice TV, large bathroom. Everything seemed quite newly renovated and had nice,... More

We can not recommend this guesthouse highly enough. We were greeted at the airport and taken straight to the hotel for no extra charge, and upon our arrival, to our surprise, we were upgraded to a superior suite, also free of charge. The room was incredible - the bathroom alone was larger than all of the hostel rooms we had... More

Stayed here for 6 nights and met most if not all of the staff. I can't say enough about how nice the staff is. Most are college students and they have very long days with school and work. Never fail to be engaging and helpful. The rooms are as stated in other reviews...big and beautiful...good value. The location is a... More

The hotel was very relaxing and nice. It had the perfect blend of traditional and modern looks. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice in the morning. The hotel offered free shuttle service to the city town centre and the rooms and bathroom facilities were very nice.

We stayed at Arissara House for three nights. Our room was huge and clean, the beds were comfortable and it was the nicest bathroom we saw in Laos! The hot water was a little slow, but worked fine if you let it run. It is a little far from downtown, but it is easy and inexpensive to get a tuk-tuk... More
