Well-located at the main street, in a walking distance to the main attractions. Its location is very convenient to see the almsgiving ceremony at 6AM. It happens just across the street. We've got a nice, large, clean room on the second floor with a balcony facing backwards. The bathtub inside the room was a plus. The breakfast was so so,... More

Stayed here for 5 nights between Christmas and New Year. Very reasonably priced hotel/inn given prices in Luang Prabang tend to be quite expensive. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was excellent - right opposite a Wat and within minutes of Wat Xien Thong and Mt Phousi and nearby attractions. Only one street away from the river too.The hotel... More

The hotel is well located across the street from temples where offerings are presented to monks at sunrise and also on the end of the street away from the busier and more touristy section of town. The upstairs rooms have winderful views of the river. The staff is friendly and helpful. The adjacent french bakery, banetton, is great for pastries,... More

Amazing rooms with awesome amenities. Staff were friendly and the meals were great. Its a close location to the morning Monks ( directly across the road, good cos it starts at 6 am) Is in between the two rivers and about a 10 minute walk to the night market. View was nothing to write about but the rooms were. Great... More

View Pavillion's staff is TERRIFIC - they go out of their way to make your experience in Luang Prabang great. But the hotel needs attention and it's not the staff's fault. Because of our schedule, we were moved to 4 rooms (in this 8 room hotel): the airconditioning didn't work in one, 2 had no hot water and the 4th's... More

Despite the big increase in Luang Prabang tourism, it is still possible to avoid the crowds by crossing bamboo footbridges and taking ferries. For our third visit to this magical city we stayed for a week at the View Pavilion, located in a more ‘select’ part of the town, very close to the Unesco Heritage Site. Recently-built, the hotel presents... More

Though set back from the main street, it's up the quiet 'temple district' end and is lovely and quiet. It's perfectly placed for wandering out early in the morning to see the monks filing past to receive alms. The mountain view room did indeed have a wonderful view and the the bath in the bedroom, with a headrest at either... More

The hotel is about 200 yds up the main street from the 3 Nagas and I like that end of town. Much quieter in the evenings. There was a strange corner tub in the room, which was not anchored down so it tipped if you leant on it. The room generally was fine. The was a little terrace that was... More

I stayed in this hotel with my sister last December. We really loved this hotel, the nice rooms, breakfast and location. From the hotel you can go around the town on foot and in the morning outside the hotel you can see the monk gathering food (if you are an early riser). The staff are great, very friendly and will... Fantastic boutique hotel, just off the main road into town. So peaceful and safe. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms which were tastefully decorated. Cleaned excellently daily. Ate breakfast looking out over river and hills. Beautiful views. Hotel has free internet access. Overall small hotel but perfectly formed!
