Good location in Luang Prabang, but at the same time quiet, with a delightful little garden where breakfast is served. The standard rooms are rather small, but on a second stay we had a larger room, probably superior. Prices for accomodation are high in Luang Prabang, but I would consider this good value for money.

Picked this hotel after reading reviews and getting reasonable rate off agoda. Excellent location. Room very clean. Couldn'nt ask for more

Villa Saykham was not my favorite hotel in Southeast Asia. In fact, I'd only mark it down as "okay." The good: - Location was great, on a quiet side street in the middle of town and right on the route where the monks walk each morning. - Breakfast had limited options but the omelet was cooked to perfection, no easy... Lovely hotel with well appointed rooms which were spotlessly clean...air con, mini fridge, cable TV and a smart bathroom with plenty of hot water...it looks recently put together and well maintained... Fantastic location...quiet on a side road but a few metres from the main street on the peninsular...the monks pass the front as they collect their alms in the mornings..lots... More

Booked on Agoda 60usd per night for triple room for 3 nights, arrived at 4pm to find that they are booked out and sent us down to their low-grade hotel down the road for the first night only, which was dirty and small. Receptionist very apologetic, it was not her fault. Breakfast nice in the courtyard, stay seated as they... More

Visited: November 2010 We stayed multiple nights. The room was very clean and comfortable with nice wood floors and good air conditioning. It was on the 2nd floor with 3 sides of windows and the bathroom had a bathtub. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink. The location couldn't have been more convenient. It's on a quiet side... More

There are a lot of overpriced hotels in Luang Prabang, certainly if you compare LP with Chiang Mai. So, carefully select your hotel or B&B in this city. Villa Saykham gives value for your money. We stayed here for 4 nigths at 55$/night including breakfast, november 2011, after slowboat trip from Thailand. Centrally located but quiet in a side street,... More

Luang Prabang is a fantastic place to visit and these villas are the place to stay. The rooms are large and clean with air con and good quality bathrooms. We were at the back of the complex and enjoyed views over the monastery and very little noise, even from the morning drums. Breakfast is served in the courtyard under spreading... More

A very nice place located in the quieter part of the city--right next door to a wat. The monks walked past on their "morning rounds" seeking alms every morning. The room was not large, but was clean and quiet (we did not hear the wat's drum mentioned in some earlier reviews). The courtyard where breakfast is served is a very... More

Stayed 5 nights in this beautiful "guest house". Rooms, food, staff were excellent and the garden a haven to have breakfast and relax. Very quiet location, although little noise from the Wat next doors. Good value for money. Price maybe too high for backpackers, but worth every Kip. Luang Prabang is a world heritage site and a well deserved designation.... More
