This lodge is a good compromise: it is far from the centre (the market close to the Palace), but quiet and clean; rooms are old and basic, but the staff is helpful and very nice. Also prices are basic. Ask the owner a typical burmese dinner and you will be rewarded.

The location is a bit away from the downtown but I would like to staying in a quiet and clean Place. The facilities are simple in the room but it is clean & warmly! The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. I'd love to staying here as Peacock Lodge just like a home!
