We stayed here based on all the wonderful reviews but other than the fabulous location, am a bit dismayed at the high ratings. The hotel is in need of reburshing...the couch in our room had a major tear, the walls had many scuff marks. The shower does not have a door which is a bit disconcerting. We stayed one night. The place was clean but had to drag two heavy suitcases up two farly steep flights of stairs.The room was quite nice but going to bathroom involved steps and another ledge to trip over. Location is excellent. Breakfast unexciting. more

Right on the main square and a short walk to the bus stop for the buses to the railway station and the bus station for Bran, this hotel is in an unbeatable location. This is an good place to stay if you want to be in the centre of the town, the location is perfect and the views from the windows at the front lovely. My husband and I stayed here 2 nights and couldn't have been happier with our choice of lodging. We paid 69 Euros for a double room with free high-speed internet, free full buffet breakfast, and the best location in the area. I stayed in Casa Wagner only for one night but loved every minute of my stay. I have rarely been to a hotel with so much character and cannot even find one point to fault- everything was perfect.
