My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel in April, 2012. We had a very nice and large room in this boutique hotel. The service couldn't have been better. Also, the hotel has an excellent restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast. The hotel is located in the old town of Plovdiv and we went on an enjoyable walking... More

My wife and I enjoyed our best meal while visiting Plovdiv. The food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was small, but charming with a cozy feel. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

We stayed in Plovdiv during a cold spell with lots of snow, which makes the old town very romantic. Making reservations was something of a problem, as the reply ended up in my spambox. However, the telephone worked fine. Getting there by car is a puzzle since the old town is divided into two parts. However, the staff is overwhelmingly... More

Pleasant, romantic and all around nice. Servi e was great. Loved the bathrooms and thought they were very creative. Only had breakfast so cannot judge the food but they do have a great garden restaurant if you are there in spring or summer. Prices a bit too high compared to hotels in Bulgaria but that would not stop me from... More

Probably the most sofisticated place in Plovdiv. The whole old town of Plovdiv is a paradise, but this place is the best venue for a gentle experience about food, wine and atmosphere.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hebros Hotel. It has the perfect location in my favorite city in Bulgaria, Old Town Plovdiv. The building has more than 100 years and is filled with old world charm and ambiance. Of course, it is expensive for Bulgaria but you get what you pay for. Upon arrival, you are offered a... More

A superb hotel at a very reasonable price. I have travelled all over Europe and I've rarely found such a welcoming and pleasant place to stay: the staff are friendly, the rooms are designed in excellent taste, the beds are comfortable, and above all the atmosphere is friendly. As your other reviewers suggest, it is pricy by Bulgarian standards, but... More

Beautiful hotel, sitting rooms, and bedroom. The staff was more than helpful, the food excellent. The location perfect in the heart of the old town. We did not have much luck in finding the hotel by driving so finally parked outside the old gate, and walked. A staff person then drove with my husband to the location - more helpful... More

Anyone unfamiliar with the old town in Plovdiv will find a surprise at the Hebros. Not easy to locate by car, it is in a 19th century merchant's house (with extra buildings of the same type extending the range of rooms). Expensive by Bulgarian standards, it is worth every lev. Spacious rooms with good modern facilities and antique furniture. Immensely... More

This is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. You can explore all the sights of old Plovdiv easily from here. I did think it was expensive for Bulgaria - we paid 119€ a night. We found it difficult to locate staff on two occasions (you have to knock on the front door each time you go back to the... More

Thank you for the review! I appreciate the negative aspects of it as it give us a side view and information on what we need to improve. Yes, we are not cheap for Bulgaria but otherwise we would not be able to maintain our standards. I am sure that next time you visit us your marks will be higher. :)... More
