Hostel Miran, is perhaps one of the most memorable hostels we have stayed in. Due to its genuine and unforgettable hospitality. Although it offers it self as a hostel, room are spread across the small town – we were fortunate enough to be given beds in Mirans family home. Small little extras, like being lent slippers so our feet didn’t... More

I can not emphasise enough how nice, interesting and caring Miran, the owner of Hostel Miran, is. He (or his brother) meets all guests at the bus or train station and helps to carry their packs back to the hostel (5 minute walk). When you arrive he gives you a tour of the hostel and shows you to your room.... More

Hostel Miran is one of the best places we have stayed in since travelling through Europe. Miran himself is so friendly and welcoming. He is the perfect host! And his family are lovely. He showed us through his renovations of the hostel he and his family are building and has some great ideas on how he wants it to be.... More

Hostel Miran has exactly what you would expect from a hostel, comfortable rooms, hot showers, it is a 5 - 10 minute walk to the Old Town, and there is always someone waiting for you at the bus station (whatever time of day it seems!). The key to this place, though, is Miran. He is enthusiastic and passionate about his... More

I arrived in Mostar planning to stay only one night, but because of Miran's hospitality, I ended up staying three nights. Miran and his family went out of their way to make me feel at home, often offering me coffee or tea. I was lucky enough to go on the day tour of the waterfall and surrounding towns (Medjugorje, Blagaj,... More

Hostel Miran was one of the highlights of our trip. While it is true that you had to step of the house to enter the toilet, the rooms were clean and spacious and the beds very, very comfortable. There were air-conditioners that doubled as heaters in the room and the hostel is also located quite near the Old Town. The... More

Miran and Mia were fabulous. The accommodations are simple- but cozy and clean. You basically feel as though you are staying in their house. I would say- it added to the experience of Mostar. What made the stay unforgettable were both Mia and Miran. As two female travellers from the US, we felt safe and cared for. Also it was... More

I stayed there for one day with my fianceè. I made the reservation just writing an e-mail, without paying any advance. The owners (Miran and Mia) are kind, and both of them speak English. If you need it, you have free Pick-Up and Drop-Off to bus and train station (we didn't use it, 'cause we were moving by car, but... More

The pickup from the train stn is great (but that is because u would probably have great difficulty finding the place otherwise and they dont want another (cheaper)hostel to get ur booking. However, similar to another reviewers story, I was meant to get my own bathroom but ended up sharing with the family as they didnt' put me in the... More
