If you want a true homely Bosnian experience, stay at Majdas, the moment you walk through the door you are welcomed with open arms. I was picked up from the station at no extra cost + given free commentary about the city along the way. Majda went out of her way to ensure I had a pleasant stay, I miss... More

We stayed for 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. We were collected from the bus station as well as being dropped of again after our stay which was a first! the hostel is lovely and cosy - it has a feel family feel to it which is great for meeting and chatting to others. The breakfast... More

Bata collected us from bus station and installed us in his colourful, cozy, clean Hostel down near the river and only 10 min walk from ancient Starimost bridge (rebuilt in recent years) Bata's delightful mother and sister cooked delicous breakfasts and we were treated as ONE OF THEIR FAMILY. A very pleasant stay for this Kiwi couple in our late... More

This was a great and friendly little hostel near the old town of Mostar. It isn't in the old city, but the walk isn't all the far and it was great for us because we had a car and parking was easy. The welcomed us with cake and water and offered to cook us breakfast in the morning. Even better,... More

Majdas picked us up from the bus station and took us to a tower block of apartments. We were told the hostel was situated 200metres from the mostar bridge, in fact the church down the road is situated 200metres from the bridge. The hostel its self was situated about 500 metres away. The facilities were poor, there were 8 of... More

We has emailed the hostel that we would arrive at the bus station at 18:30pm so they would know when to pick us up. However, our bus broke down and we didn't arrive until 22:30. We pulled up, thinking "We're screwed, they're no taxis anywhere and we're hours late so the hostel staff won't be here." We walk off the... More

This place is the friendliest and coziest hostel you'll ever find! Majda's hospitality is second to none. The dorms are spacious, everything is super clean, the location is great, the perks perfect. Really, there is nothing negative I can think of about Majda and her hostel. This is as good as it gets! And please, don't make the mistake I... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights in May. We really enjoyed it. On first arrival at the hostel it looks pretty basic but this is probably the friendliest hostel I have ever stayed at. Majda was very welcoming and made sure that everyone got to know each other, we were offered drinks and cake at no cost... More
