Situated in the very center of Kosovo capitol, this hotel represents the landmark of the city and bears historical significance (gathering point for early Kosovar protests back in the 80's leading to fight for independence) and represents the architecture of it's time (70's in socialist Yugoslavia). Once the only decent hotel in town, it now became a monument of negligence,... More

If you decide to stay here, keep in mind that you are paying extra for location (center of the city) and security (there is a UN compound adjacent to the hotel). Besides Albanian, most of the staff can speak either English or German. The hotel overlooks the city and is very conveniently located. There is a decent restaurant / bar... More

I went to Pristina on a two-day business trip and checked-in at Grand Hotel, which I booked mainly because of its central lacation. My advise, especially to women travelling alone there, is never to book this hotel because the risk is that you could be exposed to sexual harassment by the reception manager as it happend to me when I... This hotel is an extremely dated 60/70s relic. Dark and gloomy though it is, its the only 'Grand' type of hotel in Pristina so a case of Like It or Lump It! Its definitely not a 5 star establishment but I dont think there are ANY 5 star hotels in Pristina. In fact there weren't many hotels at all apart... More

Awful hotel - Never go there! Its more a ruin than a Grand hotel - The price is much to high, dust everywhere, dirty carpets in the hotel corridor, the door of our room didn't close properly, the window was so dirty - you couldnt see the city outside, also it was not possible to close the window - and... Stayed one night at his so-called five star hotel in the centre of Pristina and checked out the next morning. The floor of my room had not been cleaned, the toilet was broken and wouldn't flush, there was smelly grey water in the unplugged fridge, and the window catch was broken and it wouldn't shut.

I don't mind the hotel is like 70ties pure. But I mind the ugly, dirty, small, smelly bathroom with broken toilet. I mind dirty windows you can't see through. I mind broken TV. I mind dirty floor. I mind poor light conditions. And I mind having breakfast coffee/juice in a dirty cup.
