I am writing this from my huge (really...huge) room, in the back (quieter), no 103, in Hotel Vardar, Mozart is playing on the plasma tv. I just rain showered in a marble room fit for 10. This is a really nice hotel about 60metres inside the old city gates. However, Kotor is a fantastic and beautiful place that turns into a club 18-30 clubbing venue after about 11pm every night. We spent our honeymoon at Hotel Vadar and loved every minute. Kotor is so beautiful and the hotel is right in the middle of the square, you can literally reach every bar and restaurant in the old town within minutes. I spent two nights here in August, and found the hotel fabulous. Visit the website and you will see! Great service, the best possible location, and very classy. Parking is free, outside the city walls, reception will direct to when you check in. Their Galion Restaurant, on the water, is a 10 minute walk, and was wonderful. more

This is a nice hotel set in the old town of Kotor. The room was of a large size, shower was fairly huge. Staff were friendly, breakfast was basic but ok.
