spent three nights here (originally booked only two, but stayed one day longer and did not see a reason to change the hotel for the extra night). clean rooms, friendly service in hotel's business center and reception; the only real problem was that one could hear everything that was happening in the corridor, the door were not very sound-proof -... more

My wife and I stayed here for just one night whilst we showed my sister and her husband around Yalta. We have previously stayed at the Oreanda and the Yalta hotels, and the Bristol gives better value for money tha either of them. It is much more central than the Yalta and much cheaper than the Oreanda (around 30% of... more

I stayed here with a Russian student that I sponsor (I was visiting from the USA), who attends university in Yalta. Having previously stayed at a cheap, Soviet style hotel that had been recommended by a friend to save money, this hotel was a welcome change! The price was very affordable given that it was the height of the tourist... more

I stayed here for one night in april on a two night trip to Yalta. I planned to stay here 2 nights but moved after staying here. The room was standard 2.5 star european fare, meaning clean but tiny beds and small bathroom (but full sized tub). I really had a hard time sleeping after 7am thanks to paper thin... more

We stayed in this hotel in November, which is a low season in Crimea. Unusually for Ukraine, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When we discovered that our room is just above a building site and asked to be transferred to another room, they did so very quickly and apologised. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not spectacular or... more

We visited Yalta for 3 days in august as part of a self organised tour of Crimea and Odessa[via Berlin and Vilnius] First the positives, the hotel is in a good location, has pleasant spacious rooms and the added bonus of a large indoor pool and gym. The breakfast was good although spoilt by 3 TV screens showing raunchy music... more

Very nice hotel, moderately priced and good value. The location is excellent, adjacent to the harbor and boardwalk. Historic hotel, which has been tastefully renovated. Elevator. Clean throughout. Rooms have balconies overlooking mountains and/or Black Sea. No-smoking rooms are available. Some rooms with showers, others with shower-baths. Plumbing was satisfactory, but hair dryer was marginally useful. Our room was large... more

I was very skeptical to book any hotel in Yalta online, but I wanted to make sure something was booked before arrival. When I arrived everything was great. My reservation was confirmed. The staff was very helpful. You don't even need to know Ukrainian/Russian. The rooms were nice and clean. And of course the breakfast buffet was worth it just... more

I was a little worried about finding a nice place to stay in Yalta, since I'd heard nothing but horror stories about absurdly overpriced, ancient Soviet hotels clogged with Russian tourists during the summer months. So I decided to splurge and stay in the Hotel Bristol, and I wasn't disappointed. Because I was travelling with my father who snores, we... more
