Find it hard to write anything bad about this hotel as so much is good for the price/rating. The beds are very comfy (some of the best Ive slept on in Europe, not too soft/not too hard), the breakfast is huge with 2x chefs on hand to cook your eggs and pancakes, the dining area has a nice view over... more
The hotel is located on the Babin Kuk peninsular; a green, tranquil outpost around 4 km from the Old City and around 1km from the relaxing Bay of Lapad. This hotel has a peaceful location but is only 20minutes away from the old city by bus. All the staff were friendly and helpful and even recognised us by the second week. We were especially pleased with the view from our room, particularly in the evening when the tiny boats out at sea made long wakes in the still water... more

Stayed for 3 nights in double room. Booked via internet and got a perfect price 220 EUR for two persons with breakfast in double room. We took a airport shuttle from the airport to the city centre for 35 kuna (1 EUR = roughly 7 kuna) and from there a bud no. 6 right to the hotel (for 10 kuna).... more

Not long back from a week at the Argosy. This is a very well run hotel so any criticism applies to the infrastructure rather than the service. We were on the highest floor on the central block, which unfortunately is an "open" atrium so noise from reception area rises easily and when that area is busy with people this noise... more
