A group of 6 of us (aged 23-26) stayed for one night at the end of an awesome sail croatia tour. We arrived to check in around 9am to find the hostel in darkness. We called out and got no response, walked down the hall to find the reception and saw a boy asleep on the couch. When he woke... More

This hostel was so dire I felt the need to go directly to the internet cafe round the corner and write this review. AVOID. Not only were the staff unhelpful and miserable, the rooms were disgustingly dirty with stains running down the walls. The most minor issue we came across was the lack of functioning plugs in our mildewy room.... More

The location is good. That's about it. When we got there, there was no sign of the booking we had made (directly with the hostel), nor was there a room for us. When I showed the guy the email confirmation he mumbled something inaudible and showed us the only room they had. As it was late and we were carrying... More

Terrible hostel. Our room was described as a 3 bed private room. It was in fact a very small storage cupboard with no windows and only one working light bulb. There was an array of obscure furniture cluttering the already minute space, including broken television and an old fan which acted as the only source of ventilation in 32 degree... More

We had booked one 4 bed appartment and one double room. The double room turned out to be a very small room next to (in) the reception, no window and doors without lock... Not acceptable. One hour later we got a new room. Still small and without any window. The room was really hot. No aircon, not possible to sleep... More

I wish I had seen the previous review before we booked this place! When we turned up (having booked the room well in advance) we were told there were no rooms available in the hostel so they would arrange a room close by for us to stay in. After waiting around for a while a woman turned up to bring... More

We e-mailed that we would not be arriving until after 9.30.p.m. The unlit front entrance opened to a very dark stairway and on shouting were answered by a teenage courting couple, apparently amazed that someone would be looking for Apartmens Ana. Our 'apartment' was beyond a pitch-black ante-room which opened to a queen mattress shoved into a recess for a... More
