If you are planing to visit Split,stay in Kaleta apartments.The accommodation within the old city center is perfect,less than 5 minutes walk to the Riva,very close to the ferry port and 10 minutes from the beach (Bacvice). I LOVED this apartment. It was right near all of the action. In the mornings, I woke to the murmur of patrons in the cafe outside. There is a computer with internet, a kitchenette, a really comfortable bed, and a CLEAN bathroom. Also, there are actual shutters that you can shut (or open). Lots of fun. more

I found this apartment through a friend and could not have been more pleased. It is right in the middle of the town, but tucked away so you can have as much privacy as you want. The Kaleta Apartments were amazing. The room was beautiful and the apartment owners were incredibly gracious and helpful. The room itself is very clean and comes with everything you could need --- computer with internet, small kitchen, ample furniture and nice sized bathroom.
