Excellent service, very pleasant staff, old, but nice building with its own "spirit". Highly recommended to stay! More

I have stayed here on several occasions. The 5* goes to the staff who are most helpful - if you do not know your way around or do not speak Russian, they are perfect. But on the negative side, there is not even a breakfast room or a bar or a coffee lounge other than the tiny lobby; and there... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2011. The hotel is well presented and tastefully decorated. Reception staff were very helpful, spoke good English and arranged taxi's for us. We found this very helpful as neither of us spoke Russian or Ukranian, typical Brits abroad I'm afraid!! We found Odessa to be a fascinating but very Russian city -... More

This three-star hotel offers clean, quiet, comfortable accommodation close to most of the main city centre attractions. There's no restaurant, so breakfast is room service (it comes at the time requested but is not great - just about acceptable), or you get a voucher to take breakfast in a local restaurant (we did not try this). The rooms are more... More

The hotel meets most of the international standards (for smaller hotels). Each and every detail is well-thought. Staff is very friendly, the hotel & rooms are perfectly clean and have excellent condition, location is great - you can get to the famous Theatre by foot in 5-10 mins. There is a good choice of restaurants & bars in the vicinity... More

I stayed twice with a gap of 2 months in between. After first visit I was fully aligned to other comments. Second time however (bad luck ?) the staff courtesy was significantly less friendly. Upon check out fex there was a security guy checking my room. He did not find one of the 10 hangers and I was asked to... More

Charming hotel with the atmosphere of a B&B. An incredible staff assisted in every way. Their porter bought us ballet tickets and even went to a pharmacy with us to find the proper medication. Their extensive continental breakfast was excellent and so were the breakfast restaurants for which they gave us $9 each. More

Travelled to Odessa by business reason for the very first time. Loved the city, liked the hotel (located very centrally). Hotel has a website, they reply in a timely manner with relevant details. http://www.ayvazovsky.com.ua/index_en.php Hotel has, as I remember, 3 floors with standard and half-lux, lux type of rooms. I stayed in standard, which had enough space in a room,... More
