Great hotel in Antigua. The location is central and in a great walking area. Hotel was quiet and relaxing, with big, comfortable beds. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating and helped us schedule a trip to Pacaya at the last minute, via phone. Good value for the price, and I would definitely return.

We stayed at Posada La Merced for two nights and enjoyed every moment. The rooms are full of ambience and feature all necessities at a great price. We enjoyed amazing breakfast and coffee in Fernandos Kaffee next door. I would also recommend the chocolate massage, a truly unique experience!

I have liked this place, the staff was helpfull. I have just stayed one night. The rooms are nice and clean. I recommend others the rooms that are in the back. It´s withing walking distance from the park.

Just what we needed! Big room with good view from top floor. (not beachfront & new building next door is blocking some - but still gorgeous!). Free wifi, hot water. Clean & quiet - no one speaks English (even a little!) - but wasn't a problem.

Very clean and calm bed [& breakfast (next door!)] Extremely helpfull for solving travel problems!

This staff is wonderful, the rooms very accommodating and comfortable and it was such a peaceful place to retire to after a busy day sightseeing.
