A last minute change of plan from staying in G City to Antigua found me at Vilaflor. Arriving by night it's a pain to find, the taxi drivers don't know where it is and even inside the compound it's location is not obvious. There's no food service other then breakfast as well, so caveat emptor unless you're happy with pizza...

It's not often that you travel to a hotel and leave thinking you're actually gonna miss the place and the people, but it happens here. We stayed there with family and honestly felt like we were right at home. The place where it is located has it's own "antique" building, and the gardens where you can walk or jog in...
