We have been visiting Nantucket for many years and always stay at the Nesbitt Inn. It is the most convenient, affordable and friendly place on the island. If you are traveling with kids, or want to avoid having to visit pricey restaurants for every meal, try to book one of the 3 apartments in the back. Joanne and Steve are... More

You will not find a better value on the island. Its location is right off down town, just steps from everything, yet still nice and quiet late night. The inn keepers Steve and Joanne are super nice as well, and very accomodating to any special needs/requests, they are very easy going people. Its an old Inn, over 100 years old,... More

I come to ACK for business. The Nesbitt Inn is a quintessential B&B. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. I feel like I have a home away from home staying there. The innkeepers are great. I have loved every room that I have stayed in. Sitting on the porch is a great place to 'people watch.' If you get hungry, there... More

My husband and I recently stayed for 4 nights over July 4th. We booked the studio apartment in the carriage house behind the inn. We loved our little place, very cozy and enjoyed our private deck area with table and chairs. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch of the inn to people watch out over Broad Street. A... More

I was warned that Nantucket is ridiculously expensive during the summer but I was fortunate enough to find the Nesbitt Inn, a true value in downtown Nantucket. The location is ideal, just 2 blocks from the southern pier and within immediate proximity to some excellent restaurants, it is a quaint B&B that is perfect for someone not wanting to spend... More

Wow! Did we pick the right place or what! Short walk from pier, shopping, restaurants and bars. Clean suite, compfortably furnished with antiques, felt very safe, never locked our door. Inn keepers were very friendly and helpful. And the price could't be beat! More

Stayed for a long weekend while we were here for a wedding. We enjoyed the private, back apartment with our 3 young kids. The nights were great as we walked all around downtown with the kids, came back to the Nesbitt for drinks on the back porch, and slept like babies in the comfy beds! Two bars were right out... More

I recently went for an overnight with a friend who grew up on the island and returns once a year or so. The reviews I read concerned me a bit, but my friend assured me that he had been going there for years, and while basic, it was acceptable, and a real bargain compared to nearby properties. I went expecting... More

We stayed here for two nights this past weekend and it was not worth the money they are charging. The furniture is old and rickety and the beds are terrible! The matresses haven't been changed since probably 1982. I slept poorly and so did the rest of my family who stayed there. Had I known about the poor sleeping situation,... More

Have you ever gone to an establishment for years and looked around one day and said "This has got to be one of the worst places on the island!" admittedly it happened to me just this year! If you want to feel like your business is unappreciated go here! All of the furniture here is not second hand- it is... More
