We stayed 3 nights at Nantucket Inn in their cottage. It is far from town but does have an hourly shuttle and is a quick walk to the airport across the street to take a taxi (we did both). We were charged $527 and for that price, we believe they should of had a higher standard overall. Here is a... more

We respect and appreciate all of the comments that are posted on this site -- both positive and constructive. In this review, there certainly appears to be items in which we may be negligent (shuttle services) but there are also items that we cannot control (room layout) and other items that are at the discretion of the guest (airport location)...

My family (husband and toddler) stayed 4 nights in the oversized king room. The room was large and clean. The grounds are well manicured and attractive. The location is far away from everything. We knew this booking, so it really wasn't a concern as we were assured that there was hourly shuttle service to town and to the beach. We... more

My husband and I had to go to Nantucket for a wedding. Most places on the island require a minimum three night stay during peak season. The Nantucket Inn does not. We stayed for one night and have no complaints. The Inn is right across the street from the airport, but the planes that fly into Nantucket are small commuter... more

From the outside this place looks fine and the lobby is okay too. But the room itself was a very unpleasant surprise. It smelled strongly of disinfectant trying and failing to cover up a bad moldy decaying stink. The room was gloomy and depressing. The breakfast they boast about was nothing but coffee and a few inedible stale danish. At... more

All rates at the Nantucket Inn include a full hot and complete breakfast buffet. Prior to the opening of the dining room and as a courtesy to early morning departures, a complimentary continental breakfast of coffee, pastries and fresh fruit is provided in the lobby. In regard to the room issue -- and as noted by other guests in this...

We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday. Unfortunately it rained all weekend but the hotel couldn't be better. Very clean, quiet hotel. Upgraded to a "cottage" room with a fireplace and cathedral ceilings - it was a great room. Included a delicious full breakfast both days. The maid service was great. Our room was very clean. Also, the maid... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. We got a fantastic deal; great price, $50 voucher to one of two restaurants, full breakfast every morning, and transportation to and from town. We couldn't ask for anything more. The set up of the hotel is very cute, 3 different courtyards with landscaped grounds and benches... more

We stayed at the Nantucket Inn while attending a friend's wedding Labor Day weekend. They were the ONLY place on the island that did not have a three night minimum (we could only stay for two) and the ONLY place that had not doubled or tripled their rates for the holiday weekend. The Inn is right across the street from... more

The Nantucket Inn is a moderately priced, well maintained, casual Inn on Nantucket near the airport away from downtown. It is more the size of a hotel than a traditional Inn. We stayed there Labor Day weekend at the price was $200 per night for a standard room. Pricey, but not nearly as expensive as some other lodging on Nantucket.... more

We had a great time at the Nantucket Inn. It's not right in town, or on the water, but the hotel provides great hourly shuttle service to both. The staff was friendly, the pools and tennis courts were very nice, and the breakfast buffet terrific. My only complaint was a small one. There is no gift shop, so if you... more
