After racking our brains for weeks trying to find a place to stay the evening of our wedding at the Harrington Farm, we stumbled across this B&B on Tripadvisor. We weren't sure what to expect despite the positive reviews and lovely pictures. We couldn't have picked a better place to wind down the best day of our lives. We literally... more

We stayed during the fall foliage and it was breathtaking. Right from our room we had a beautiful view of the trees, lake and grounds. The room was roomy, comfortable and had all the modern amenities. There are only a few rooms so it is quiet. The home is huge and a historic marvel in itself. And I agree with... more

This place is great! We highly recommend taking advantage of Terry and Paul's hospitality. We travelled there for a ski weekend at Wachusett Mountain (20 min. drive) but plan on coming back during the summer to unwind. Their house is amazing. Although it's main structure was built in the 1750s, it's been completely mordernized to include hot, comfortable showers. The... more

The photos of the Maguire House on their website are impressive - a classic beautiful, large house in an expansive and picturesque setting. But they don't begin to give you the full story. Yes, the structure and grounds are impressive. But what makes it all click are Paul and Terry. They've given great thought to every detail of your stay,... more

This was our second weekend at the Maguire House, and it won't be our last! Terry and Paul Maguire are the most welcoming, warm, and gracious B+B hosts anyone could ask for. Last year, we went on a weekend trip for our anniversary and skied at the local Wachusett Mountain. This year, we brought both our families and everyone (moms,... more

It was the most charming place my daughter and I had ever been. Terry was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. My daughter wanted to save everything. She decided to just take a picture. We saw snow for the first time for the season. It was just beautiful. We had an amazing time for the two days. We... more

My wife and I spent two days at the Inn and enjoyed it immensely. Teri and Paul are terrific hosts and extremely welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the scenery beautiful. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. We look forward to our next stay. Extremely convenient when visiting Cushing Academy. more

My 11 and 13 year-olds and I stayed one night in January for easy access to Wachusett Mountain the next day. We had to arrive late, it was frigid and snowy/icy outside, but Terry, the co-owner, greeted us warmly and gave us our choice of rooms, as we were the only guests. Each room is unique, beautifully decorated and slightly... more

This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast, we didn't quite know what to expect but we must admit that the Maquire House has certainly set the bar into the stratosphere for the next one. They abundantly and exceedingly surpassed our expectations. Ther room was clean and comfortable, the food was exquisitely delicious so much so that I... more
