There are three properties as part of the Inn. You check-in at one location and the staff will take you to the location you are staying at. The place has the feel of a private bed and breakfast. Very quiet and personal. Does not feel like you are staying in a hotel, but rather like a guest in the home... More

Annapolis is a lovely town to visit and Governor Calvert House is in a great location, you can walk everywhere. The room we had was very clean, comfortable and well furnished. Complimentary pastries, fruit and coffee were offered every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the air conditioner was noisy even when turned off.

Dear Normag90: Thank you for your feedback. I was delighted to read you found our location to be first rate and that the accommodations were to your expectations. I’m especially proud that our team did a great job for you. I will follow up with my Chief Engineer on the a/c noise issue and be sure that remains a part... More

Stayed in Maryland Inn, room 300. I got a few hours sleep with all of the street noise and the noise from the people above me walking on the old floors. This place is overpriced.

Dear American-Germany: Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that you were not able to enjoy a good night’s sleep and that you could hear people walking above you. I certainly agree that the subjective evaluation of the noise that might hear while in our Maryland Inn is something pertinent to each individual guest. I’m sorry that in your... More

Stayed at this hotel in April 2012 on the spur of the moment, and we sure were not disappointed. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and classic of an old-time inn. I particularly like how it is only a very brief walk to shops, restaurants, nightlife, etc., yet the hotel itself is nestled on a quieter street right across from... More

My husband and I arrived in Annapolis mid afternoon with no reservations, Trip Advisored hotels, came upon the Robert Johnson House, and got a great rate for the one night. The stars were in our favor because we found a parking spot right on the street! Had a king room, clean and cool, on the 3rd floor. The bed was... More

We stayed at the Historic Inns of Annapolis in April. Our room was in the Maryland Inn and it would be a bit inconvenient to have to shlep up the street in the evening or in inclement weather. But it was beautiful during our stay so the walk wasn't a problem. I was worried a room in such an old... More

We stayed here as part of a wedding party. We filled up the Calvert House for three days with the relatives of both families. The rooms were great, although some were a tad small. If anyone needed anything, the hotel staff was extremely attentive and friendly. This is a great place for a wedding reception too! We couldn't have asked... More

If you go in the off season you can get really good deals here. We rented two rooms for the family and they were both great, and each had their own personality. The inn was wonderful, romantic and Annapolis is a great town to go visit. The rooms were smallish, but what you would expect in a hotel built in... More

My Husband and I spent our 1 year wedding anniversary at the Inns of Annapolis Maryland house and we had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, right in the middle of town. The rooms are smaller and the bathroom was super small, but it was quaint! It's what we expected from a boutique hotel. We had the bed and... More
