My fiance brought me here for my birthday and it was just a delightful experience. Turn down service with chocolates on a very comfortable bed. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

My husband and I stayed one night at this place and after a long journey it would have been nice to have a comfortable bed, Every move you made the bed sqeeked . The bathroom was not up to date and not so clean. It's not worth the stay or the money.
The inn has a run down feeling.

From the welcome that was truly genuine to the Sangria on the loveky Portico this is a step off Main but miles from the more commercial spots we had stayed in in our previous stays in this lovely village by the Bay...if u want the escape steps away from everything out the back door this is the spot...ask for the...

This place looks lovely on the outside but what a dump on the inside. Our room was run down, paint peeling, furniture in disrepair and there was such a sickeningly sweet smell in the place we had to leave. I think they must have put stuff in the carpets to mask odors. We checked other rooms and they were just...

I had originally wanted to stay at the Marriott Waterfront but at $289 a night I went shopping and found this place. Had no idea what to expect...but was great. Great location, friendly staff. Clean room. Def. bigger than your average hotel. Got a great rate...at the time only $89 so a huge difference from Marriott. Which I stopped by...

Lovely B & B downtown Annapolis. Great owner/operators who treat their guests as though family. Very casual and relaxing. Across street from Maryland State House which served as nation's capitol in late 1700's. Nice period furniture; warm and comfy. If you want the glitz and ritz, not here. If you want a very nice place to stay, close in, comfortable,...

My husband and I were looking for a reasonably close (but still fun!) place to spend our 10 year anniversary. We chose Annapolis... on the water, we could walk everywhere - everything we wanted. We chose to stay at the State House Inn. The location is great - very convient - walking distance - to all of Annapolis' many attractions....

We checked in late and found our key and instructions at the front door, very convenient. Although we never saw the proprietor, everything was well-explained on paper and the room was spacious, though somewhat dated. The Inn is located on the street next to the main area, a very easy walk to many restaurants and shops. Would recommend this inn--note...

When we booked this it was previously listed as a Bed and Breakfast, now it is just an INN. Nothing extra was included although we were charged the same price. The only time I saw a staff person was when we checked in. The room was nice with a closet and chest of drawers and the bed very comfortable. The...

I've stayed in DTA (Downtown Annapolis) often and liked most every where I've stayed. This Inn is within easy walking distance of Downtown and the Naval Academy. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. It's above average but it's not exceptional. The Robert Johnson is next door; they're about the same. I would certainly recommend it.
