Ofu is a great place to lose yourself. There isn’t a lot to do except relax, read and snorkel, and it doesn’t get any better!
Vaoto Lodge is definitely the place to stay while at Ofu. Marge is an amazing and kind person, and an excellent host. Our room was a newly renovated unit with 2 bedrooms and 1 washroom. With the ocean breezes I didn't need air conditioning at all. There is also a separate common room type building with dining area, TV, movies, books and plenty of games. The owners Marge and Tito were off island so their daughter and husband were our hosts - they were absolutely wonderful. Deb and Ben made us amazing home-cooked meals that were truly restaurant worthy. While the beaches and island... more
