This hotel is a big, U.S. style chain hotel, with all the nondescript blandness that attends that description. The only thing that stands out are the Canal view rooms which are quite nice. At least it's clean and reasonably comfortable. The staff are not especially helpful. More

We stayed one night in November, 2012, and will return. The facility is being upgraded. It was part of the naval Fort Ardmor in the US Canal Zone. The surrounding buildings have been demolished, leaving a very large park like space with large trees around the hotel. The rooms are very large, and all have balconies. The breakfast buffet was... We stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is currently under revovations but was still quite. The rooms are nice. We were not able to get a canal view room as it was full. The pool located at the back of the hotel and the view is great with the ships passing by. The pool... More

The hotel is fine, the pool area is fine, the staff are friendly and fairly helpful. The TGI Fridays, which is attached to the hotel and provides their room service, is pretty poor. As far as food goes, it is just another average TGI so do not expect much. It's the staff in TGI which really lets the place down.... More

Great location right on the canal away from the city. You can just sit on your deck, grab a drink, and watch ships and boats coming and going thru the canal. The causeway is a nice walk to food and shopping. More

its just a hotel. Nothing fancy, just functional. Nice pool and hot tub. Make sure you have a water/harbor view room so you can see the Bridge of the Americas and the entrance to the canal. There is a TGIFridays---its just a TGIFridays, but the yact club bar is within walking distance. They have cabs especially for the hotel, they... More

The hotel is aprox. 40 minutes from the international airport and 10 minutes from the national airport. A taxi to the hotel costs aprox. 35 USD when arranged with the hotel; maybe it´s cheaper if you take a regular taxi at the airport. I´ve choosen this hotel, because it´s located a bit outside - but still close to some attractions... More

We stayed at this property for almost a week. They are under construction, but they go to great lengths to make sure it does not get in the way of your experience here. Staff is friendly and accomodating. The first two days we were in a regular double room with a canal view, and the rest of the days in... More

We had trouble booking. I swear on my Grandma's grave that we booked this one, but when we got here at midnight, they said our reservation was for the other Country Inn and Suites. They did straighten things out, but it was a hassle. Overall though, compared to other hotels in Panama City, it was a good value for it... More
