Overall, the hotel was clean and adequate, but about what one might expect from a hotel designed more for Central/South-American locals than American tourists,. It's definitely not a "tourist" hotel. First, the good: The hotel is clean, safe and the staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant on the roof is surprisingly good as is the breakfast. The pool on... More

This is a SIMPLE and CLEAN hotel that is all. It is not a luxury hotel but it serves its purpose. My sister booked this hotel and I was satisfied with it. It's clean, offers wifi, has a pool and it's located in good proximity to all in things in Panama city. There is really nothing bad that I can... More

You can not expect much in a hotel with a $ 65 daily. The furniture is outdated, It is a bit dark inside and those things does not give a good impression. Internet only works on the terrace, but the room is large and clean enough, although the bed is not very comfortable . Staff strive to give an acceptable... More

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Bahia Suites for 4 nights. The overall experience was ok. Its best you know at least a little spanish because while I was there, I did not encounter any employees who spoke english. This was fine for me, as I know a little spanish. Some employees were nice or average, but a few... More

For someone used to sleeping in hostels, this hotel was not too bad. Room quality is a considerable less than you would expect for the price paid. There is air-conditioning and TV though. Within ten minutes of the national bus terminal. The location is somewhat difficult. One out of every three taxi drivers will take you there. A bus or... More

This hotel was one of the cheaper ones we could find while we waited for the airport to find our luggage. We found it online and it was about $65 after tax. The AC worked well and it was a clean and basic room. There was wifi in the hotel which worked well. The neighborhood around the hotel is not... More

The first night on the 6th floor was impossible to sleep because of the noise of the cleaning system of the pool in the terrace ... the second night on the 3rd floor was because of the people. The breakfast is terrible ...the position is far from everything ... it could be good for panamenian people...but not for Europeans ...

Most hotels you see on line are not really what you get! Hotel Bahia was better than I expected. I was a little disappointed when we first saw our room, however, the roof top pool and seating area more than made up for it as we spent most of the day up there. The computers were right inside the air-conditioned... More

Very old hotel. Very old furnishings. Needs updating. The staff was fine, the location was fine. The A/C worked. If you are ok with a minimal type of hotel this hotel is fine. It definitely is not a resort. For $50-60 per night (2012) it is adequate.

I couldn't wait to get out of there, even skipped breakfast. Lousy service, treated me like a bandito because they lost my name from their computer. Didn't have wi-fi working and didn't care to fix it...add a nasty anti-Gringo attitude to fill out the experience.
