The Hoteles Brandt's (one of two locations I believe) in Los Robles was a good mid-range option in Managua, actually may be higher range from what I could see in Managua. I stayed at the Brandt’s for five nights and really enjoyed. (Just to specify, I stayed at the one at Colonial Los Robles No132, not the one in Zona Hippo’s.) I stay here frequently as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua. The rooms are a good value and the AMAZING breakfast is included (self-serve good coffee, orange juice, tropical fruits - and you can pick off their menu: eggs, gallo pinto, bread, pancakes, etc.) The service here is GREAT and very friendly. They will do laundry service also.
